Noah Gordon (November 11th, 1922 – November 22th, 2021), has touched millions of readers with the German translation of his novel «The Physician», published in 1987. With its sequels «Shaman» and «Matters of Choice» the historical trilogy was made into a movie and a musical. Gordon’s first entry into the German bestseller lists was in 1967 when his novel «The Rabbi» was published in German translation.
